Dia Lynn & Marti Barbour

Who Are We

We are a partnership of two sisters in the Roaring Fork Valley of Western Colorado, combining our personal, professional and educational experience to serve the senior population in preventing age-related cognitive decline.

Marti Barbour (on right) has been the Program Administrator of Roaring Fork Brain Train and Volunteer Coordinator for Home Care and Hospice of the Valley. She is a licensed Colorado Certified Nurse Assistant, Alzheimer's trained; CPR Certified and holds a certification in Brain Wellness. She is the mother of four accomplished adult children and has one precious grandchild. She has an administrative and creative background but loves people, thus, her caregiving business name of "People, Plants & Paperwork".

Dia Lynn (on left) is a self-employed retired bodyworker, holistic healer, teacher and minister who is educated in Occupational & Art Therapy, Nutrition, Breathwork, Medical QiGong Energy Clearing as well as Anatomy/Physiology instruction. Spirit of Wholeness Ministry is her "Church Without Walls". It is a healing, teaching, counseling, non-denominational ministry. Dia's motto is: "Unifying body, mind, emotions and spirit with humanity and the planet."

How We Work

We establish programs, centered on evidence-based Total Brain Health, with prescribed courses of instruction, group participation and experiential home-based exercises that are expertly designed to stimulate neural functioning. We take turns teaching subjects in our areas of expertise for up to a year at a time. We then train participants to learn to teach aspects of the program so there is incentive to learn new tasks and participate more fully in a like-minded, ongoing support group.
